Our wood products are available all year round and can be collected from Dale Farm, Monday to Friday, 10am – 3pm, alternatively we can arrange delivery. Please see our split log and wood chipping price lists.
Purpose-Built Log-Splitting and Seasoning Facilities
Logs are split in a purpose-built shed, then stored and seasoned outdoors until ready for use.
Safety is our priority. Everyone working in the log-splitting shed is fully trained, and each splitter operates within a designated safety zone that must remain clear while the machine is in use.
We use hydraulic log splitters, which drive each cut log against a sharpened wedge to split it.
The Dale Farm team cuts and stacks every log by hand. We stock well-seasoned firewood in a range of sizes to keep your fire burning.
Split Logs
Each of our logs are cut and stacked by the capable hands of the Dale Farm team. We stock firewood of all sizes, perfectly dried to keep the fire going.

Wood Chipping
Our wood chipping bagging service is available all year round. Wood chips can be used for:
- Mulching around your plants.
- Adding them to your compost pile (if small enough)
- Creating new growing areas with layered organic materials.
- Creating natural pathways.
- Creating new wildlife habitats.
