Fruit and Vegetable Sales are GO!

We have been busy harvesting ready for a new season in our farm shop. We have been picking our fruit and pulling vegetables out of the field ready for a new season in our farm shop.

We grow a wide variety of produce on the farm, from berries and currants grown in our netted planting areas to beetroot, beans, tomatoes and squashes etc., grown in our field and polytunnels.

The farm has Soil Association certification, so you can rest assured that no chemicals have been used in growing our produce. All our pest management is done naturally by crop rotations, keeping plants heathy and encouraging natural predators. Dale Farm bees help with pollination and can be seen buzzing about. We use stacks of well rotted manure to fertilise our field and we make our own ‘poo feed’ by soaking manure in water.

All money raised from our plant and foodstuff sales gets ‘ploughed’ back into the farm to ensure that we can continue giving meaningful employment opportunities to those people we support.

The farm shop is open Monday – Friday (10am till 2pm), or alternatively please contact Suanne to check our stock levels 0151 666 5190. Alternatively, if you just fancy coming down to see what we’re about, just pop down, where we will be happy to welcome you. We are always looking for volunteers, you don’t need any experience, you just need to be patient and caring, we can teach you the rest.
