Dale Farm – We’re Getting Chilled
Harvest Season
It’s the Dale Farm harvest season. Our chiller is usually filled to the brim with freshly picked produce.
We all know that moment, when we plug something in, only to find out it doesn’t work anymore. Our old chiller had served us well, but now it was time to quickly find another alternative – fast. Thankfully, the trust stepped in and paid for a new replacement, helping us keep the harvest fresh and ready for our customers.
Fresh From the Plots
Please remember we also pick fruit and vegetables straight from our plots, so they are as fresh as they can possibly be. Our produce is grown organically, without pesticides, insecticides or artificial fertilisers, giving you confidence in the food you are feeding your family.
Other items for sale
Craft Room
Not all the people we support are mobile enough to work on the plots or polytunnels. These guys craft items for your home and garden, many of which are made from recycled materials.
Woodwork
We use our wood work room to support tasks on the farm. However, we do make time to make bespoke products for our community. If you would like a bird table, planter or have a project in mind. Please contact Chris or Lee on 0151 666 5190
