Website Update

Our website is currently undergoing complete redevelopment; please be patient whilst our site undergoes these changes.  The site and its content will be written in an accessible format for everyone we support.

Our committee of volunteers, staff and the people we support met to discuss the changes and types of articles they would like to be included on the Dale Farm Trust website, these include:

• Interviews with people on the farm (safety issues were discussed and so it was decided that only first names would be used).
• A three monthly news letter to include events on the farm, these will be able to be viewed online but copies will be made available in large and normal print on noticeboards.
• Articles (blogs) to be generated every week or fortnight about subjects that the students or volunteers may find of interest, such as:  plant development over time, bee friendly plants, what weeds should not go on the compost heap and other articles that will help us care for our farm.
• Greater detail on what we sell in the shop and any price lists.
• Information on workshops and areas of the farm such as:  the meadow, sensory gardens, craft room, poly tunnels and bee hives etc.
• Increased advertising of public events and social media.
