A Little Photo Session

From time to time, the people we support take photographs for the website, they capture the photos themselves using a digital SLR camera. Here are just a few of the images; I think you will agree, they have done a good job.

A Busy day in the field

It has been a hot and sunny summer here at Dale Farm. Like anyone growing fruit and veg we have struggled. We have had some successes and some failures, but despite the hot weather our pumpkins are on target for a spooky Halloween.

Our sensory garden has enjoyed the hot sunny weather, although the sweet peas and Hydrangeas have really suffered this year. The Mediterranean herbs and Agapanthus have done particularly well basking in the sunshine.

Autumn is now coming along and after all the heat, the rain will come and the weeds will germinate very quickly. Like many gardeners and allotment keepers we will end up almost literally drowning in weeds over the next few weeks.

If you know anyone with a disability who is interested in photography, then you could try the National Photographic Society, which is committed to inclusion.
